The Movielife Add Extra UK Date

The Movielife have added an extra UK date to their tour in June. The date has been added due to overwhelming demand. The extra date will take place at the Birmingham O2 academy 2 on Friday the 18th of June, with tickets going on sale Wednesday the 25th of Feb. 

The band have also announced that their album 'It's Go Time' is being remastered and will be available to purchase on vinyl for the first time ever via Fadeaway Records. It will come with deluxe gatefold packaging and will be available in 3 variants with 250 pressings each. All of the proceeds from the reissue will go to charity. Get your copy here. 

The Movielife Announce UK Shows

The Movielife have announced that they will be playing two UK shows this summer. The band will be playing in London and Manchester on the 18th and 20th of June. This will be the first time The Movielife have played the UK since 2003. The band recently announced they were getting back together after their split in 2003 and a brief reunion in 2011. The Movielife Reunite

Yes, you heard us correctly, The Movielife are reuniting and will be playing their first show in 2015. Today, Noisey released an exclusive article with the band in which they declared that they were reforming and will be playing their first show at the Irving Plaza next February. The band originally broke up in 2003 and got together for a brief reunion in 2011. However things are looking more hopeful this time with vocalist, Vinnie Caruana stating 'We’re not planning on doing anything but playing some shows, and when we’ve played those shows, maybe we’ll play some more. Brandon and I talk about playing music together all the time, and if nothing more, to keep the door open on this means we get to play together and we get to play with the other guys.' Even better, Caruana goes on to say ''I don’t think the UK would allow us to reunite and not come visit them. I think the hatred and frustration would implode the whole country, so we’re definitely going to come over there, I think'. Well holy shit,  this is one hell of an early Christmas present.

Vinnie Caruana UK dates

Vinnie Caruana, ex frontman of The Movielife and current singer of I am the Avalanche is heading to the UK for some acoustic solo shows. Caruana fronted The Movielife from 1997-2003 with some brief reunion shows in 2010-2011. After The Movielife he then went on to sing for I am the avalanche from 2004. Catch him play acoustic versions of songs from both bands at these UK dates:
